Attorney Glen H. Sturtevant of Rawls Law Group selected as "Leader in the Law" by VLW

Rawls Law Group is pleased to congratulate Attorney and Director of Rawls Law Group, Sen. Glen H. Sturtevant, Jr., for being named in the Virginia Lawyers Weekly “Leaders in the Law” Class of 2019.

Virginia Lawyers Weekly has published its list for fourteen years, and this awards program recognizes the lawyers across the Commonwealth who are setting the standard for other lawyers in Virginia. “Leaders” are recognized for changing the law, serving the community, changing practice or improving Virginia’s justice system, among other accomplishments.

About Glen Sturtevant

Glen is 36 years old and has been in private practice since 2007, following a one-year clerkship on the Richmond City Circuit Court.  He graduated from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. in 2003 and from George Mason University School of Law in 2006.

Glen is a trial lawyer with a state-wide and national litigation practice. He has wide-ranging experience dedicated to representing clients in complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on medical malpractice and healthcare litigation, including Federal Tort Claims against Department of Veterans Affairs, military, Indian Health Service, and federally-funded hospitals and clinics, as well as vaccine injuries, mass tort, product defect claims, and commercial disputes. With a singular focus on protecting his clients’ long-term interests, Glen represents his clients on trial teams around the country, taking cases to verdict, winning them before trial, resolving them in mediation, and avoiding litigation before suit is filed.

Glen has been consistently recognized as a Rising Star in Virginia Super Lawyers’ peer-ranked guide to top lawyers in the region and is a graduate of the National Trial Advocacy College at the University of Virginia School of Law.

Glen previously served on the Board of Governors of the Virginia State Bar Young Lawyers Conference and led the Virginia State Bar’s provision of legal services to survivors of natural disasters, mass emergencies, and terrorist attacks affecting the Commonwealth.  He received the Virginia State Bar Young Lawyers Conference Service Award in 2009.
