Melissa’s practice focuses on medical negligence committed by the United States and its
agencies, such as the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs and others. She also handles medical
malpractice cases in state court. While in law school, she focused on litigation and pre-suit
problem solving in mediation, negotiation, and arbitration with her school’s Alternative Dispute
Resolution competition and ADR board.
Melissa enjoys getting to know her clients, and she works closely with them to ensure they
remain informed and involved in their cases.
She graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law and was sworn into the Virginia
State Bar in 2023.
