Justine Kesel joined Rawls Law Group in 2014 as a file clerk and quickly advanced into the
FTCA Intake team, where she developed a strong foundation in federal tort claims and
veteran-focused casework. Within her first year, she transitioned into legal assistant
responsibilities, supporting attorneys with case management, client communication, and
high-volume administrative operations.
Coming from a large military family, Justine brings a deep understanding of the challenges faced
by service members and veterans—an asset that strengthens her work on FTCA cases and client
advocacy.
She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity & Information
Assurance, with a particular interest in regulatory law, compliance, data protection and forensics.
Her growing cybersecurity knowledge complements her legal background and enhances her
approach to secure, efficient information handling.
Outside of work, Justine enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching movies,
relaxing at the beach, and attending live music events.
