David’s practice at Rawls Law Group focuses on negligence committed by the United States and
its agencies, such as the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs and others. David has brought successful
medical malpractice and personal injury cases against multiple agencies throughout the United
States.
Prior to his work at Rawls Law Group, he has worked extensively with veterans. David began his
legal career as an attorney advisor at the Board of Veterans Appeals within the U.S. Department
of Veterans Affairs. In that position, he assisted in the adjudication of appeals for veterans’
benefits claims. While in Law School, he also served as the Chair of the Veterans Legal Clinic
and President of the Veterans Law Society, where he provided legal services to homeless
veterans and helped create a Veterans Benefits course at UCLA.
David is a veteran, himself. He comes from a family of veterans. His father, grandfather, and
both of his sisters all served in the United States Army, Air Force, or Navy. David served five
years as an enlisted Marine, deploying to Desert Shield/Storm.
