In late 2025, Peter Anderson was named a Leader in Law by Virginia Lawyers Weekly. This distinction came shortly after Peter Anderson was appointed to former Virginia governor Glenn Youngkin’s nursing home oversight board. The latter part of 2025 was filled with success for Peter, and the start of 2026 is no different.

On February 6th, 2026, Peter was selected to be a panelist for the Long-Term Care Retreat, an informative seminar hosted by the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA). Recognized as an expert in nursing home negligence cases, Peter discussed the nuance involved in screening nursing home negligence cases, and how to overcome the common defenses that long term care facilities use to shield liability. In short, Peter Anderson explained how successful cases are created by educated decisions at the outset. A thorough pre-suit analysis ensures lawyers are prepared for every argument thrown their way.  At Rawls Law Group, we pride ourselves on providing the best legal representation for our clients, and that starts with having subject matter experts in our practice.
